Tanuja Jadhav

M.A. (Mumbai University Gold Medalist), B.Ed., M A. (SNDT Mumbai University)

Sahyadri inspires Tanuja to explore innovative ways of learning life lessons. She teaches Economics to the students but believes that the most important lessons at Sahyadri School is to understand oneself, the content within. For her, it allows her to follow the path of humanity and become an integrated and creative human being.

She has a special connection with Python hill as it inspires her to look within, especially during Asthachal. She enjoys the wonderful sunsets, the chirping of birds and the surrounding nature.

She loves to quote J Krishnamurti and shares her two favourites.

A) ‘When I understand myself, I understand you and out of that understanding comes love.’ (This motivates me for self inquiry which further builds empathy and compassion for self as well as for others.)
B) ‘The moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed.’
